Answer by mananth(16946)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
let width be x feet
length = x+3700
..
Perimeter P = 2(L+W)
17400= 2*(x+x+3700)
17400/2 = 2x+3700
8700=2x+3700
8700-3700=2x
5000 = 2x
x= 5000/2
x= 2500 feet
length will be x+ 3700
Length = 2500 + 3700=6200 feet
