Yes there is a correlation as we know that each angle of vertex of square = 90 degre,,, which makes it a right angle and if you make any diagonal ,,,then it would make a right triangle there ,,,,and we have phythagoras theorem...according to which we get that
one diagonal of square = square root of (sides)^4
