Question 303481: A rhombus is inside of a rectangle, meeting at the medians(middle of the sides) of the 4 sides of the rectangle. Without any dimensions given, find the ratio of the area of the rhombus to the area of the rectangle.

Hint: Two things to consider: First is that a rhombus is a quadrilateral with 4 equal sides. So the goal is to find the length of one side, and you'll essentially find the lengths of the remaining sides. Second, let 'L' be the length of the rectangle and 'W' be the width. Then use the pythagorean theorem to find the length of the side of the rombus (draw the picture to see what's going on, but you'll see that those lengths will be cut in half).
