Recall the area of a rectangle. The area is length x width. You are given the following pieces of information already:
You are given the area which is: A=900ft%5E2
You are given the length which is: l=36tf
You just need to find the width. Very simple.

1. Plug values into existing equation for the area of a rectangle.

900=36w (w = width)

2. Simplify

900%2F36=w

Your answer is 25! The width is 25 ft.
