Question 28767: The perimeter of a rectangle is 91 feet and the length is 8 feet more than twice the width. Find the dimensions of the rectangle.
Answer by Paul(988)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
width = x
Length = 2x+8
Formula: 2(l+w)=P

2(2x+8+x)=91
6x+16=91
6x=75
x=12.5

2(12.5)+8=33

Hence, the width is 12.5ft and the length is 33ft.
