We have to bisect this rectangle into two equal parts and if we join the pieces the resultant should be a square of 6 inch side.
Can anyone give a solution on this?

THE CUT FROM THE TOP IS:
2 INCHES FROM THE UPPER RIGHT CORNER, CUT DOWN 1.5 INCHES.
NOW CUT 2 INCHES TO THE RIGHT, THEN 1.5 INCHES DOWN, 2 INCHES TO THE RIGHT & 1.5 INCHES DOWN.
NOW SLIDE THE RIGHT HAND PIECE UP 1.5 INCHES & 2 INCHES TO THE LEFT.
YOU NOW HAVE A 6 BY 6 INCH SQUARE.
