The formula for volume of a box is V=LWH , which contains four unknown quantities. Three of these quantities are given in this problem. Substitute those values into the formula, and solve for the last unknown.

V= LWH
54 = 2*3*H
54 = 6H

Divide by 6:
H= 9 feet
