D=RT OR R=D/T
R=36/3=12 MPH UPSTREAM.
R=36/2=18 MPH DOWNSTREAM.
(18-12)/2=6/2=3 THE SPEED OF THE CURRENT.
18-3=15 MPH FOR THE BOAT IN STILL WATER.
12+3=15 DITTO.
