The length of a rectangle is 5 more than twice its width. The perimeter is 130 feet. What is the area of the rectangle.
-------------------------------------------
Let width be "x"
Then length = "x+5"
-----------------------------
Perimeter = 2(L + Q)
130 = 2(x+5 + x)
65 = 2x + 5
2x = 60
x = 30 (width)
x+5 = 35 (length)
