let x be the length of the rectangle
45%x = width of rectangle
x+x+45%x+45%x = 58 = perimeter of the rectangle
2.9x = 58
x = 20
So the length of the rectangle is 20 cm and the width of the rectangle is 45% of 20 which is 9
