Given :
Length is 5 inches more than width
Perimeter is 70 inches
Assume Wdith W = x
Length becomes L = 5 + x
Perimeter of a rectangle P = 2 (l + W)
= 2 ( 5 + x + x)
= 2 ( 5 + 2x)
70 = 10 + 4x
60 = 4x
then x = 15 ========> width = 15 inches
Length = 5 + x = 5 + 15 = 20 inches
