Manu earned Rs. 1100 more than Ahmed,
250m = 200a+1100
Solve the equations
200.00 a + 250.00 m = 3900.00

-200.00 a + 250.00 m = 1100.00 .............2
Eliminate m
multiply (1)by -1
Multiply (2) by 1
-200.00 a -250.00 m = -3900.00
-200.00 a 250.00 m = 1100.00
Add the two equations
-400.00 a = -2800.00
/ -400.00
a = 7.00
plug value of a in (1)
200.00 a + 250.00 m = 3900.00
1400.00 + 250.00 m = 3900.00
250.00 m = 2500.00
m = 10.00

M + A = 3900 M - A = 1100 --------------------Add the equations 2M = 3900 + 1100 = 5000 ===> M = 2500 ===> Manu worked 2500/250 = 10 days. Subtract the equation 2A = 3900-1100 = 2800 ====> A = 1400 ====> Ahmed worked 1400/200 = 7 days.
