2/3 the perimeter of a square is 16:



Multiply both sides by 3/2, giving you p (the perimeter of the square) on the left.


p = ??? (for you to calculate)
Then divide the perimeter by 4 to get the length of each side.

If   of the perimeter is 16,  then    of the perimeter is half of that, i.e. 8 units - hence, the perimeter itself is 24 units.


If the square has the perimeter of 24, then its side length is   = 6 units.     ANSWER
