Question 1056709: please help me splve this:
The perimeter of parallelogram ABCD is 92 cm. AD is 11 cm more than twice AB. Find the lengths of all four sides of ABCD.

Answer by Boreal(15235)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
AB is perpendicular to AD.
The opposite sides are equal.
Therefore, one length and one width is half the perimeter.
length=2w+11
width=w
They add to 46, half of 92
3w+11=46
3w=35 cm
w=35/3 or 11 2/3 cm AB and CD
2w+11=103/3 or 34 1/3 cm AD and BC
