Perimeter = 2*length + 2*width

Let the width be "x" ft ; length = 3x-6 ft

EQUATION:
800 = 2*(3x-6) + 2(x)
400 = 3x-6+x
4x= 406
x = 101.5 feet (width of the playground)
3x-6 = 298.5 feet (length of the playground)
