Ans: x + 10

2) if the perimeter of the field is 100 meters, write an equation in x to represent the perimeter of the field.
P = 2(length + width)
100 = 2(x+10 + x
50 = 2x + 20
2x = 30
x = 15 meters (width)
x+10 = 25 meters (length)
