The area of a rectangular lawn is 208 square meters. The perimeter is 68 meters. What are the dimensions of the lawn?

Let the dimensions be L and W, respectively
2L + 2W = 68_______2(L + W) = 2(34)______L + W = 34______L = 34 - W ----- eq (i)
Area: LW, so:
W(34- W) = 208

Solve this for W: one of the dimensions, by factoring, and use this value to find L: the other dimension
