The length of a rectangle is 6 inches longer than its width. If the perimeter of the rectangle is 40 inches, find its area
let width is X inches
length will be X+6 inches
P=40
2(x+x+6)=40
2x+6=20
2x=14
x=7
width is 7 inches and length will be 13 inches
area =lxb =7x13=91 inches
