I will assume is is y=2/(x-4)
Vertical asymptote ix x=4 (vertical).
as x approaches 4 from the positive side, y goes to + oo horizontal asymptotes are 0
as x approaches 4 from the negative side, y god to - oo
when x=0, y= -1/2
as x goes to + oo, y goes to 0 from positive
as x goes to -oo, y goes to 0 from negative

If it is y=(2/x)-4
Vertical asymptote is 0 with the same shape as above, although the y-intercept is -4.5. The graph is shifted down 4 units. Horizontal asymptotes are -4.
