Question 984720: Graph the rational function:
f(x)=-3x-1/-x-2

Answer by josgarithmetic(39620)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
Do you really mean this?
f(x)=(-3x-1)/(-x-2)
?

Simplifies to f(x)=(3x+1)/(x+2).
Undefined at x=-2, root at x=-1/3, horizontal asymptote y=3. Check for any possible sign change around the vertical asymptote and around the root.
