1. y= -3x+6
2. y= 3(x-1)^2 -3

Question 93466: I think that i chose the right category, but i am not sure. My summer math packed says graph the following, indicate intercepts where appropriate
1. y= -3x+6
2. y= 3(x-1)^2 -3 (^2 means squared)
If you could help, that would be wonderful. thank you so much and God bless. Answer by checkley75(3666) (Show Source):
You can put this solution on YOUR website! Y=-3X+6 (RED LINE)
Y=3(X-1)^2-3
Y=3(X^2-2X+1)-3
Y=3X^2-6X+3-3
Y=3X^2-6X (GREEN LINE) (graph 300x200 pixels, x from -6 to 5, y from -10 to 10, of TWO functions y = -3x +6 and y = 3x^2 -6x).
it appears that (-1,9) &(2,0) are the intercepts.
