I know this has to be simple but I am very confused. I was able to solve my first expression but no luck with this one. I cannot find any similar examples in the book. The problem is below. This is a fraction the x on the bottom is the denominator and the ^2 is an exponent.

note that division by 0 is not allowed, therefore the domain of
(1 -x^2) / x is
(-infinity, 0) and (0, +infinity)
