Question 887171: What graph will represent the inverse of h(x)=-3x+6
Answer by rothauserc(4718)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
h(x) = -3x +6
solve for x, given
y = -3x +6
-3x = 6 - y
x = (6 - y) / -3 = (y - 6) / 3
now interchange the x's and y's
y = (x -6) /3
therefore
h'(x) = (x -6) /3
now the graph of h(x) = -3x +6 (red line) and graph of h'(x) = (x -6) /3 (green line) is below
