Question 883208: State the right and left hand behavior of the graph of f(x)=6x^3+40x
leading coefficient is even so it rises and the degree of polynomial is odd so left hand side will do the opposite of the right hand side.
will it:
-fall on the left and rise on the right
-rise on the left and fall on the right
-or fall on the left and right
i'm thinking rise on the left and fall on the right?

Both coefficients are positive so as x becomes larger, it will keep increasing.
Similarly, as x becomes more negative, it will keep decreasing.
Rise on the right, fall on the left.
