I do not fully understand which way the domain goes. When I graph the equation I come out witha graph which starts at (0,3)and continues on to the right for infinity. The answers that I to choose from are [3,0) and(3,0). I guess my real question is, how do I know which to choose from, the bracket or the parenthese?

I'm not sure if you mean f%28x%29+=+sqrt%28x%2B3%29+ or f%28x%29+=+sqrt%28x%29+%2B+3.

Since you say you start off with a graph that starts at (0,3), I'll assume it is the second case. Since the end point of this graph IS included, it means that you must include the endpoint in the domain, so use the bracket. However, it goes to infinity, not to ZERO. Domain = [3, infinity). I'm sorry, I should be able to give you the symbol for infinity, but I don't know the symbol in the algebra.com system.
