Question 8135: How do I find the range and domain of y=4x+7?
Answer by longjonsilver(2297) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
domain is all the possible/allowed values of x you can put in... you have a straight line, which has no restrictions, so domain is "all values".
the range is gotten by thinking about putting each and every values of x you can and "what values of y do you get out"?
For a straight line, you put "every possible" x-value in. You can then get any/all possible values out, so range is all values.
