Find tan (theta) if sec(theta)= sqrt(10)/3 and sin(theta) < 0.
If sin<0 and sec>0, theta must be in quadrant IV where tan<0
use x for theta
secx=√10/3
cosx=3/√10
sinx=-√(1-cos^2x)=-√(1-(9/10))=-√(1/10)=-1/√10
tanx=sinx/cosx=-1/3
