2x^3+4x^2-22x-24=0
x^3+2x^2-11x-12 = 0
Notice that f(-1)=0 so x=-1 is a zero.
Use synthetic division to find the quotient after dividing by (x+1):
-1....1....2....-11....-12
.......1....1.....-12..|..0
So, x^2+x-12 is the other factor after dividing:
It factors into (x+4)(x-3)
Therefore x=-4, and x=3 are also zeroes.
