The Instructions say to: Graph the function, then determine the domain and range.
y = sqrt (x + 4) *y = the square root of x + 4
I do not know how to graph the equation or find the domain and range. Please help as best you can! Thank you!

Do you mean, , and restating as "y equals square root of the quantity, x plus 4"? The asterisk creates confusion.
Parabola with vertex at the left; parabola opens to the right.
Excuse me; I gave some help but did not completely answer the question. The original function is the square root function, shifted 4 units to the left.
