Please help:
3x+-+9+%3C+5x+%2B+2 subtract 5x from and add 9 to both sides

3x-5x-9%2B9%3C5x-5x%2B2%2B9 collect like terms
-2x%3C11
Now we'll divide both sides by -2 which means that we have to reverse the direction of the inequality sign
x%3E-5.5
