Step 1: Multiply all the terms by x to give x%5E2+%2B+6+=+5x

Step 2: Subtract 5x from both sides. x%5E2+-5x+%2B6+=+0

Step 3: Reverse FOIL (x-3)(x-2)=0: x=3 and x=2 by the zero product rule.
