Hi,
√(x-3)+1=√(x+2) || Squaring boths sides of the EQ
(√(x-3)+1)(√(x-3)+1) = x+2
x-3 + 2√(x-3)+ 1 = x+2
2√(x-3) = 4
√(x-3) = 2 || Squaring boths sides of the EQ
x-3 = 4
x = 7
