Question 65986: Use the FOIL method to multiply the binomials.
(x+2y2)(x-4y)
Answer by uma(370) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
(x+2y^2)(x-4y)
F- x*x
= x^2
O - x*(-4y)
= -4xy
I - 2y^2 * x
= 2xy^2
L - 2y^2*(-4y)
= -8y^3
Thus (x+2y^2)(x-4y)
= x^2 - 4xy + 2xy^2 - 8y^3
Good luck!!!
