Hi, I have two Algebra 2 questions.
The first one is, how do I sketch the graph of the function and its inverse on the same coordinate plane?
f(x)= 2-4x
The second question is, are f and g inverses of each other? f(x)=2/3x-1/2, g(x)=3/2x-3/4
Thanks,
Aaron

Use some values for x as: -2, 0 and 2
you'll get the coreesponding y: 10, 2 and -6
so you've three points: (-2, 10), (0, 2) and (2, -6) plot them on X-Y system
you'll have a staright line
.......................................................
for the function: y = 2/3 x - 1/2
replace x and y , you'll get: x = 2/3 y - 1/2 [Multiply by 6]
so, 6 x = 4 y - 3 --> 4y = 6x - 3 --> y = 3/2 x - 3/4
so, yes you're right each of g and f is inverse function for the other
