x=(10,000-x)*.05
Divide each side by 0.05
x/0.05=(10000-x)*0.05/0.05
20x=10000-x
Add x to each side
20x+x=10000-x+x
21x=10000
Divide each side by 21
21x/21=10000/21
x=476.2
