Hi
Find all of the zeros of each function:
f(x)=4x^4+19x^2-63 = (4x^2 -9)(x^2 +7) = 0
(4x^2 -9)=0 x = ± REAL solution
(x^2 +7) = 0 x = ±i
checking our Factoring Using the FOIL Method
4x^4+19x^2-63 = (4x^2 -9)(x^2 +7)
F First terms 4x^2
O Outside terms 28x^2
I Inside terms -9x^2
L Last terms -63
