You can put this solution on YOUR website!
FIND THE DOMAIN OF THIS FUNCTION: h%28x%29=10%2F%28x%5E2-2x%29.
With rational functions, the domain is all real numbers EXCEPT anything that makes the denominator (the bottom of the fraction) =0.
In this case, your denominator is: x%5E2-2x
Factor that: x%5E2-2x=x%28x-2%29
x(x-2) cannot = 0 therefore according to the zero product property
x(not=)0
and x-2(not=)0
x-2+2(not=)0+2
x(not=)2
In set builder nototion the domain:{x|x(not=)0, and x(not=)2}
In interval notation the domain: (- infinity,2)U(2,infinity)
Happy Calculating!!!
