Question 552174: Having trouble with this problem. I need a step by step on how to do it since I have a lot more of these to do. Thank you in advance.
s/6-6/s=0

Answer by fcabanski(1391)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
s/6 - 6/s = 0 |Use LCD to add fractions. 6s is LCD.
(s^2 - 36) / 6s = 0 | Multiply both sides by 6s.
s^2 - 36 = 0 | Add 36 to both sides.
s^2 = 36 | Square root both sides.
s = + or - 6
