Question 54850: Hi, I am trying to simplify this, can you please show me the steps?
AMP Parsing Error of [(x/3) - {[(2x-3)/x]/[(x/3)-(3/x)]]: Invalid expression '{[(2\x-3)/x]/[(x/3)-(3/x)]': syntax error at /home/ichudov/project_locations/algebra.com/templates/Algebra/Expression.pm line 203. .

I have tried using the simplifier at:

The simplifier gives:
(x/3)-((2x-3)/x)/((x/3)-(3/x)) simplifies to x/3-(2*x-3)/x/(x/3-3/x)
but shouldn't it simplify even further? I am trying to help my daughter but can't remember precalc...
thank you

(x/3) - [(2x-3)/x]/[(x^2-9)/3x]
(x/3) - [(2x-3)(x^2-9)/3]
[x-(2x-3)(x^2-9)]/x
[x-[2x^3-18x-3x^2+27]/x
[-2x^3+3x^2+19x-19]/x
