2x + 1y = 54 and 3x + 2y = 32

You must solve each one for y first:

2x + y = 54               3x + 2y = 32
     y = 54 - 2x               2y = 32 - 3x
                                y =  - x
                                y = 16 - x

Press CLEAR
Press Y=

Type so that you see this

\Y1=54-2X
\Y2=16-3/2X

Press WINDOW

Type so that you see this:

WINDOW
 Xmin=-40
 Xmax=200
 Xscl=10
 Ymin=-200
 Xmax=100
 Yscl=10
 Xres=1

Press GRAPH

To find where they intersect

Press 2ND
Press TRACE
Press 5
Press ENTER
Press ENTER

Read at the Bottom of the screen:

Intersection
X=76            Y=-98
