There is nothing about that Rule that would exclude
any Real Number value of "x".

Domain: All Real Numbers
OR
(-oo < x < +oo) or (-oo,+oo)

The domain of any function is the set of values of the independent variable for which the function is defined. You start with all real numbers and then eliminate any values that make the function undefined. If there are no values that make it undefined, then the domain is all real numbers.
