Domain: The radicand cannot be negative.
So, s-1 >= 0
x >= 1
----
Domain: All Real numbers >= 1
------------------------------------
Range:
Value of sqrt(x-1) >=0
So, value of sqrt(x-1)+2 >= 2

Range: All Real Numbers >= 2
