Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
"which points lie on the graph of the plane x + y -z = 15"
A. (5,10,0)
Substitute x = 5 ; y = 10 ; z = 0 to see if you get a true equality:
5 + 10 - 0 = 15
true
So, that point lies on the graph of that plane.
================================================
Do the same for "B" and for "C".
B. (20,5,10) c. (5,5,5) d. (10,3,-2)
================================================
Write three more points on the graph of the plane.
Let x be any number
Let y be any number
Then solve for "z"
Example
Let x = 2 ; Let y = -1
2 + (-1) -z = 15
1 - z = 15
z = -14
Point: (2,-1,-14) will be on the graph of the plane.
