Multiples of 14 are:
14, 28, 32, 56, 70, 84,98,112,126,140,154, 168,...
and the multiples of 56 are:
56, 112, 168, 224,280 ...
Common multiples of 14 and 56 are simply the numbers that are in both lists:
56, 112, 168, ....
So the common multiple of 14 and 56 is the smallest one of those: 56
