Answer by ilana(307) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
^3sqrt5x+8 +6=1
Subtract 6 from each side.
^3sqrt5x+8 = 1 - 6
^3sqrt5x+8 = -5
Cube each side.
5x + 8 = (-5)^3
5x + 8 = -125
Subtract 8 from each side.
5x = -133
x = -133/5, or -26.6
