Question 43118: how do i do this problem......how do i find the partial fraction decomposition for the rational expression.
-2x^2+4x-7
__________
(x^2+4)^2
Answer by fractalier(6550) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
I have a feeling there is a misprint somewhere, because using the standard method does not yield a linear term...you sure the denominator is not (x^2 - 4)^2 ?
Aside from that term I get
1/(x^2+4)^2 + -2/(x^2+4)
