Question 428715: whats the function for each, find f(-5), f(-3), f(1/2), and f(4).
f(h)= -6h-2/3

Answer by stanbon(75887)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
find f(-5), f(-3), f(1/2), and f(4)
if f(h)= -6h-2/3
----
f(-5)= -6*-5 -2/3
= 30-(2/3)
= 29 1/3
-----------------
f(-3) = -6*-3 -(2/3)
18-(2/3)
= 17 1/3
-----------------------
f(1/2) = -6*(1/2)-(2/3)
= -3-(2/3)
= (-9/3)-(2/3)
= -11/3
---------------
f(4)= -6(4)-(2/3)
= -24-(2/3)
---
= (-72/3)-(2/3)
---
= -74/3
