Yes, your answer is correct. In order to get rid of the minus sign in the y term, you had to multiply by a negative number ( in this case) so you had to reverse the sense of the inequality, changing from less than to greater than.

Here's how to remind yourself that this makes sense:

2 is certainly less than 3, that is

Now multiply both sides by -1:
