Answer by stanbon(75887) (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
multiply and simplify;
5/x * (x-x^2)/(10x-10)
-----
= (5/x) * (x(1-x))/(10(x-1))
----
= (5/x)*(-x/10)
---
= -1/2
