Question 408234: Can someone please help me graph this parabola? -x^2+812x-9600 I have solved for the vertex (406,484908). I know the parabola opens downward. I can get the line of symmetry also. The problem I am having is the question says to "include solutions (roots)". I am not sure what this means or how to do it.
Answer by ankor@dixie-net.com(22740)   (Show Source): You can put this solution on YOUR website!
The roots are the values of x where the graph crosses the x axis (y=0)
:
In this equation find the roots using the quadratic formula:

in this equation a=-1; b=812; c=-9600

you should get two solutions
x=800
x= 12
